Business Development Manager - Cross Border

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the cross-border payments space, including B2B, B2C, and remittance channels.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
  • Build strong relationships with banks, payment service providers, fintech partners, and merchants.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market feedback to senior management.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on competitive landscape, regulatory trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Prepare proposals, pitch presentations, and contracts for new clients and partners.
  • Collaborate closely with product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of payment solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in payments, fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, remittance, or international money transfer products.
  • A strong network in the fintech/payments ecosystem is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
