#Throwback On December 8, 2024, a remarkable challenge took place at the Banyan Tree Bangkok Vertical Marathon, an event that brought together people from all walks of life to test their endurance in a thrilling ascent up the tallest building in Bangkok. EGH is beyond proud to have participated and secured 2nd place in this incredible competition! 🥈
The Banyan Tree Bangkok Vertical Marathon was no ordinary race—it was a one-of-a-kind self-challenge that tested both physical and mental strength. Participants had to conquer a grueling 1,093 steps to reach the 61st floor, where the view of the city from the top was nothing short of breathtaking. The 360-degree panoramic view of Bangkok, stretching out in every direction, made every step feel truly special and rewarding. From the top, you could see the heart of the city, a stunning reminder of why the climb was so worth it. 🌃💖
This event was more than just a race; it was a celebration of personal triumphs, teamwork, and a spirit of determination. The challenge pushed us to our limits, testing our stamina, perseverance, and willpower. Yet, what made the experience even more meaningful was the overwhelming support from everyone who cheered us on and kept us going, step by step. EGH’s success wouldn’t have been possible without the energy, encouragement, and commitment of our team and supporters.
However, the marathon had an even greater purpose—one that brought a sense of unity and compassion to the entire event. All proceeds from this incredible race were donated to the Thai Red Cross HIV Formula Feeding Fund, under the patronage of Her Royal Highness, Princess Soamsawali. This fund provides essential infant formula for babies born to HIV-positive mothers, ensuring they receive proper nutrition in their crucial early years. It is a cause that is close to our hearts, and we are incredibly proud to have contributed to this vital initiative through our participation.
As we reflect on the success of this vertical marathon, we are reminded that every step taken on that climb was not only a personal achievement but also a chance to give back to those in need. Together, we not only reached new heights physically but also made a lasting impact in the lives of others.
